Swimming in money
I read an interesting post. It was about a coach that raised his price from $10.000 to $25.000.
And in order to do this he started half a year earlier to raise the quality of his work to that new level and also living like he was already earning it, including how he dressed.
I resonate with two aspects of this: The adapting to where you want to be and charging according the value of what you offer.
I also feel to point out that I'm getting tired of this belief that we need to charge these enormous high prices and earn these enormous amounts of money to feel satisfaction be happy, be respected and so on.

Also that we will start to dress more expensively. I for one refuse to pay for this kind of things.
If someone truly believe that he will be a better coach (or any other expert) and giving more value when people start paying amounts that only a few can afford, then he needs to start asking himself if it's not time to refund all his clients to date.
Thinking big is not limited to the amount one client will pay, or the total amount we will earn. Using simple math, it is very easy, if we are really good at what we do, to earn a lot, simply by having more customers coming to us, because we are so damn good.
If someone gets upset while reading this, then that person may seriously have to ask himself why he is doing what he does? If it's primarily for the money, then good luck. Money may come, but at a price.

I chose this career to make a difference in people's lives and in a big number of lives. I can only reach this if I do a very good job. This will lead to more and more people coming to me. So I will be making a lot of money even if my price is affordable, especially to many, I will never be cheap, but also not charging 10 times of what I charge today.

I did double my prices twice in the past 5 years. This was because I started very low, Reason 1 being to enter a new market (new country) and reason 2 because I asked around and at the time I mostly met people that were struggling financially.
What I do charge today is 4 times of what I started with here in this country and it's still affordable for a big chunk of the local population.
I also decided to work with different levels of prices for different geographical areas when my activities transitioned to online. This way I can still make a difference in people's lives and in most countries in the world. I also have a special charity program in case this is needed.
And despite all the "soberness" my income is steadily growing.

I believe we need to find a balance in everything we do, life is about this anyway.
Who am I to consider that only the very rich should be able to afford my services?
And all that money we want to make, why do we want it? What for? Let's go there for a moment and feel what it is that we are really searching for? It won't be money, that I can tell you :-)
